Are you kidding? I bought a EPSON Expression Home XP-4100. When I tried to scan a document, it required me to download the event Manager which REQUIRES my credit card number. That's nuts! I guess I was luckier than the people who went ahead with the download and it took 95% of their CPU. BTW "PU" is accurate!

I installed the Epson event manager and it utilized 95% of my CPU. I took it off and reinstalled but got the same result. Sure seams like a handy tool to me since I could not use my machine while it was installed. Scanner seams to work when the event manager is not installed, So why do we need this handy tool?
